Showcasing the web and mobile application for the Laws of Uganda.

In a stride towards legal accessibility and efficiency, the Uganda Law Reform Commission convened a demonstration session on February 21, 2023, showcasing the web and mobile application for the Laws of Uganda. The event took place at the Uganda Registration Services Bureau Auditorium, drawing a diverse group of stakeholders. The occasion was graced by the presence of the Chief Guest, Attorney General of Uganda, Mr. Kiryowa Kiwanuka, along with a diverse array of stakeholders.

The primary objective of this gathering was to gather valuable feedback from stakeholders regarding the newly developed web and mobile application. Participants had the opportunity to explore the features and functionalities of the application, providing crucial insight and expertise. The interactive session aimed to refine and enhance the application before its official launch.

Complying with the requirements of the Law Revision Act, 2020 (Act 4 of 2020), the Uganda Law Reform Commission has diligently prepared the 7th Revised Edition of the laws of Uganda. This edition is poised to be a pivotal tool in promoting accessibility to legal information and shall be made available in both print and digital formats.

The web and mobile application, are innovative information systems tailored to boost efficient service delivery by the Commission. This forward-looking approach aligns with the commission's commitment to modernizing legal information dissemination.

As the nation gears up for the official launch, the Uganda Law Reform Commission anticipates that the seamless integration of print and digital formats will contribute to fostering a more accessible and user-friendly legal landscape for citizens and legal practitioners alike
